The order you add them in does not matter. Once you have crafted it once the recipe is remembered and you can go straight to the recipe book next time.
What a sheep is worth
Wool, every 24 hours, using shears. A rezzed sheep grows a visible wool prim, and the wool spins into thread and cloth through the spinning wheel and loom.
Leather and meat, once. Slaughtering gives leather and a lamb carcass, and the carcass goes to the butcher table.
So a sheep pays out slowly forever or quickly once. That is the whole decision.
