Individual Whitelist / Alt Access for Storage Chests
Currently, storage chests are tied either to the owner or the entire group/colony. Players with alternate accounts cannot securely share inventory with their own alts without opening the container to everyone in the colony.
Proposed Solution: Add an “Access Menu” to the storage chest text dialog where owners can input specific avatar names (UUIDs or account names) to grant access, independent of Group/Colony status.

I am wondering though, is there any reason why the alts cannot be a part of your group or colony for access to be shared with them?
I can’t speak specifically for AngelRose, but she and I have spoken about this topic. I believe what she means is that she wants to only have certain colony members able to access certain chests, not the entire colony or entire group. It doesn’t just apply to alts, but other specific colony members as well. So rather than having to restrict a chest to owner only to keep specific personal saved items from being used by many other colony or group members, to be able to set it up with a whitelist of approved names who can access specific chests. Some of us in our colony keep personal storage chests but would like to allow an alt or other person who could stash things in a personal storage chest if they are helping gather for specific projects, etc. It would help to save time in sorting and organizing items so that one doesn’t have to log in 2 avatars at the same time, or when certain colony members are on during hours when the chest owner is offine.
That’s a fair point and worth considering.
