The chicken coop breeds chickens. It is the quickest and cheapest of the four breeding stations — a week rather than a fortnight, and three grains rather than five.

Ingredients: 3 × chicken · 1 × barley · 1 × oats · 1 × water
Three chickens in, four out. You get one more than you put in, so the coop grows a flock slowly rather than doubling it. Put six in and you wait twice as long for two extra.
Below Farmer level 2 the craft fails and the chickens are gone with it.
What a chicken is worth
Eggs. Click a rezzed chicken with a small basket and take eggs — the video says between one and twelve. The chicken restocks every 6 hours.
A carcass, on slaughter, for the butcher table to portion into cooking ingredients.
