The site is being rebuilt — and this time it's plugged into the game

slcolonies.com is being built again from the ground up. Not a reskin.

The first piece is already working: the numbers on the front page are read live from the game database. 30 regions reporting this week, 91,731 things crafted with around a hundred being made right now, 6,238 recipes — 641 of them written by us, the rest invented by you. When the world changes, the page changes.

That’s the whole idea, and everything else follows from it — the same wiring pointed at you instead of at the world:

One account, all your avatars. Mark one primary, keep your alts private. Hidden by default.

Your avatar, linked. Your SL avatar connects to your account here, so the world and the site finally agree you’re the same person.

Achievements. Recognition for what you genuinely did — the long grind to a profession cap, the rare find. Earned in-world, not bought.

A profile that’s yours. Professions and levels, achievements earned, and the regions you call home.

Discord that knows you. Link once and your achievements surface in Discord, so what happens in-world is visible when you’re logged off.

Region pages you write. Land owners fill in a form and get a proper page here, linked from the live directory.

And further out, no promises on this one: a vendor system of our own, built into the same accounts, professions and achievements as everything else.

No date on any of it. It’s a decent-sized build and I’d rather do it properly than fast. I’ll post progress here as it comes together.
