The Wine Press is used by the brewer to press juices and oils out of fruit. The ratio is the whole station: two fruit make one juice, a minute a pair.
Three grapes are pressed separately — plain, red and white — because which vine you picked decides what you can ferment later. Olive oil is the exception to everything: 20 olives for one, and the only thing here that is not a juice.
Fruit juice is a drink and stays a drink. Only grape juice ferments — red and white become wine barrels for the tavern, and plain grape juice becomes the vinegar that every dye and every tanned hide in the colony depends on.
