[RECIPES] Furniture Station

The Furniture Station assembles finished pieces from parts. It carries only three system recipes — bed, chair and cushion — each level 0 and ten minutes to run, and none of them lists fixed ingredients. What comes out depends on what you feed in, so the range is open-ended rather than fixed.

Those parts are cut at the Carpentry station, which holds 99 of them across oak, fir and maple: frames, headboards, footboards, backs, legs, seats and cushions. Each needs a matching draft and planks, and planks come from the Logging Station, which mills an oak log down through large, medium and small in three separate steps. Padded parts also take cotton and leather, so growers and butchers feed this chain too.

The gate is upstream. Assembly asks nothing of you at level 0, but every part is Carpentry level 3 and ten minutes of its own. A plain oak bed comes to three large, four medium and four small planks — three logs once you trace it back — so mill in batches before you sit down here.
