Colony jobs, now on your benches

A quick update to the Colony Management System — and one thing to do first.

Update your crafting stations. Grab a new updater from the store and update them. Until you do, none of the bench features below will appear for your colony.

Teleport straight to it

Every field, gatherable and huntable on your colony page now carries a teleport link. Click it, the map opens, and you are there. Your members can find where everything is without having to ask you where you put it.

Jobs, from flag to done

Flag anything that needs doing — a field ready to harvest, a spawner ready to hunt — and it drops into Jobs to do. Hand it to a member, and the next time they log in there is a notification bell waiting at the top of the page. They do the job, mark it done, and the colony sees it done.

You can add a note to a job, so people know what you actually want — including collecting whatever is sitting finished at a bench.

Your crafting benches are in it now

The cooking station and the rest of the crafting stations now show up alongside the fields: what is running, what has finished and is waiting to be collected, and what is idle. All of it can be flagged as a job.

Flag a recipe, and it finds who knows it

This is the one to watch in the video. Flag a recipe and the system scans everyone in your colony and lists the recipe names they know between them.

It does not show the recipe itself. Nobody’s recipes get copied off them — you only ever see that somebody knows how to make the thing.

So if one member is the only person in the colony who knows a dish, you can hand them that exact job — make this, at this bench — and it lands in their queue with the bell.
